Playlist 25-02-2012: Fresh Reggae February 2012

Het is weer tijd om een vers blik reggae open te maken.

Stephen Marley ontving deze maand wederom een Grammy voor het beste reggae album van het jaar: Revelation part 1. Daarmee is hij de meest succesvolle reggae artiest voor wat betreft deze beloning. Zijn vorige solo albums ontvingen al een Grammy in 2008 en 2010. Met Ziggy Marley & de Meledy Makers was hij ook al 3x winnaar en het ddor hem geproduceerde album Welcome to Jamrock van zijn halfbroer Damian Marley kon ook deze prijs niet mislopen.

Jimmy Cliff heeft besloten om The Clash te coveren. Guns of Brixton werd al eerder gesampled in Dub be good to me.
